505AM runs two dedicated LPBF production channels on-site in Henderson, Nevada. Every part is built, inspected, and shipped from this one facility.
505AM began as an internal solution to a lack of supply of contract manufacturing for required Aluminum 6061-RAM2 parts. An internal product couldn't get to market because of an industry-wide shortage of machine time for exotic alloys. To fill this need, 505AM was established as a standalone contract manufacturer of Aluminum 6061-RAM2 parts. Setting up in a warehouse with industrial-grade power and sufficient space for growth, 505AM acquired laser powder bed fusion machines, brought in and trained staff, and started producing parts.
Others with a need for reliable contract manufacturing partners in the additive manufacturing space, specifically LPBF, began working with 505AM, and both machine count and alloy range expanded.
Today, 505AM services companies across industries and countries, and continues to expand its capabilities and capacity.
Every part is produced against a strict standards guide. When required, parts are checked against additional client specifications. CT scanning, mechanical testing, and metallurgical analysis are available. 505AM is currently pursuing ISO 9001 and additional industry certification.
Metal powder is sensitive to moisture. Humidity causes clumping, oxidation, and inconsistent flow during a build. Nevada's dry climate reduces the moisture our powder handling and storage has to manage.
Henderson sits along I-15 and I-11, with Harry Reid International Airport minutes away, for direct freight and air routes to customers across the Southwest and West Coast.
Within a day's drive of California, Arizona, and Utah, and close enough to West Coast ports to ship internationally with minimal added transit time.
Every part is built in-house, on our own LPBF systems in Henderson, Nevada.
Aluminum 6061-RAM2 and Inconel 625-RAM2, each on its own dedicated production channel.
Industrial manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, automotive, defense, and aerospace.
Both. We run single-unit prototypes, replacement parts, and ongoing serial production.
Basic inspection happens in-house. CT scanning, mechanical testing, and metallurgical analysis are available when a part requires it.
505AM is currently pursuing ISO 9001 certification.
